Chiropractic care

You were told to rest.
We'd rather rebuild you.

Chiropractor in Simcoe, Ontario

If you have already tried chiropractic somewhere else and ended up back where you started, the difference here is not the technique. It is that we look for what is limiting you, and build from there.

Why this feels different

Where you feel pain is not always where the problem started

Your back hurts, so the back gets treated. It settles for a few days, then the first time you lift something awkwardly or sit through a long drive, it comes straight back. That loop is the reason most people give up on care, and it is the reason we start somewhere else.

We look for the thing behind the thing: the joint that has stopped moving, the muscle doing a job it was never meant to do, the position your body has quietly been avoiding for months. Then we work on what you can tolerate today and raise that ceiling week by week. Chiropractic is one part of our chiropractic and physiotherapy services in Simcoe, and your plan can draw on any of them.

And no, we do not adjust everybody. Adjustments happen when your body needs one, not because you booked a chiropractor.

What an appointment looks like

You get the room to yourself and your clinician's full attention. Nobody is being treated in the next cubicle at the same time.

You leave the first visit knowing three things: what is going on, why it is happening, and what the plan is. If we are not the right fit for what you need, we will say so.

Hands-on care

Manual and soft tissue therapy

Manual therapy is the hands-on half of the work: joint mobilization, soft tissue release, and targeted work on the areas that have stiffened up while you have been guarding them. It is not a massage, and it is not the whole plan. It is how we make room for the movement you are about to relearn.

Hands-on treatment settles the tissue that has been guarding, whether that is muscle, tendon, fascia or a stiff joint, and for a while everything moves more easily. We put that time to work in the same session, restoring movement and loading the area properly, so the improvement holds instead of wearing off on the drive home.

Is this the same as a massage?

No. Manual and soft tissue therapy is clinical treatment, delivered by your clinician as part of your care plan. The goal is restoring movement and capacity, not relaxation, and it is billed as part of your chiropractic or physiotherapy care. Not sure which you need? Ask on the discovery call and we will tell you plainly.

Your roadmap to care

Five Steps to the Summit

Reset • Rebuild • Achieve

A clear, adaptable plan to help you move with confidence and return to what matters.

  1. Assess & Clarify

Understand your story, goals, movement, and what may be holding you back.

  2. Reset

Reduce irritability, restore useful movement, and build early confidence.

  3. Rebuild

Develop strength, control, tolerance, and resilience for daily life.

  4. Progress

Increase work, sport, and everyday demands at the right pace.

  5. Achieve & Sustain

Return to what matters, maintain progress, and keep building independence.

Your care is individualized. Progress is not always linear. We reassess throughout, and your plan may pause, adapt, or revisit a phase as your body, confidence, and goals change.

Two paths, one summit

Chiropractic or physiotherapy?

Chiropractic and physiotherapy are two distinct disciplines, and here they work as one team. The assessment is just as thorough on either path, the plan is built the same way, around what you want back, and your clinicians coordinate so nothing gets lost between them.

If you are not sure which to book, do not overthink it: take the free discovery call and we will point you to the right starting place. Coverage details vary from plan to plan, and your insurer can confirm exactly what yours covers. You can also read more about physiotherapy in Simcoe, Ontario.

Telehealth across Ontario

Not everything needs hands on it. Assessments, exercise progressions, and check-ins work well over video, and we see patients anywhere in Ontario this way.

It is also the practical option if you are travelling, if driving is uncomfortable right now, or if you moved away and want to keep the same clinician. Get in touch to schedule a telehealth appointment.

Good to know

Chiropractic questions we hear every week

No, you can book directly. Some extended health plans ask for a doctor's note before they reimburse you, so it is worth a quick check of your policy if you plan to claim.

No. We adjust when your body needs it, and plenty of plans involve little adjusting, sometimes none. Most appointments combine hands-on treatment with movement you practice in the room.

Because relief on its own is not a plan. Treatment settles the area, then we spend the rest of the appointment building the strength and tolerance that keeps it settled once you go back to your normal week.

That depends on what we find and what you are working back towards, so we will give you a realistic picture after the first assessment rather than a number over the phone. Care is built in phases and we reassess as you go.

Yes, we direct bill most extended health insurance plans; coverage depends on your plan and policy. Bring your insurance details to your first visit, and your insurer can confirm exactly what your plan covers. If your injury happened at work or in a car accident, that care is funded through your claim instead, and our WSIB rehab and car accident rehab pages explain exactly how that works.
